Location: River View RV Park
The Backyard BBQ Contest will be on Sept. 24 at the River View RV Park.
Twenty-two amateur cooks in the area who think they have a winning recipe will be competing. There are six categories for participants to enter: beef, chicken, pork and tropical drinks with alcohol and without alcohol.
The registration fee is $35.00.
Registration can be at the Vidalia Chamber of Commerce office at 1401 Carter St. in Vidalia.
This is strictly an amateur contest.
There are no rules as in the past. Any grill, any marinade, its just about having fun.
