Evening Tours at the William Johnson House

Location: William Johnson House/Downtown

Natchez National Historical Park is offering special free programming at the William Johnson House on Thursday and Friday evening, March 10th and 11th from 5pm to 8pm.

Free guided house tours featuring many of the Johnson family’s original furnishings as well as historical downtown walking tours will be available. In addition, visitors will be able to listen to Johnson’s diary entries, view a variety of interactive exhibits in the visitor center, and shop in the park’s bookstore.

In addition, free downtown walking tours will be offered at 5:30pm and 7:00pm and will discuss the rich history of Natchez including William Johnson and the devastating Natchez tornado of 1840. Downtown walking tours will last approximately 45 minutes. Please wear appropriate walking shoes and bring water. House tours will be conducted throughout the evening. All activities are free of charge.
