Friday, April 27th, BROADWAY BLUES BASH begins at 4:00pm, in front of the Natchez Grand Hotel on Broadway at Main Street in Downtown Natchez. The festivities will kick off a 3-day celebration of our region’s Blues Sound. Vickie Baker and the Cowboy Blues Band will perform on the UMB STAGE and the music is free and open to the public. The festival will be enhanced by the 6th Annual SPRING MARKET ON THE MISSISSIPPI, 50+ vendor booths with everything from food, arts, crafts, merchandise, games and much more surrounding the UMB STAGE Friday & Saturday along Broadway. After 7:30pm drop in on a number of performances at SELECT CLUBS around downtown Natchez. The N.A.P.A.C. Museum has a permanent art exhibit dedicated to the NATCHEZ BLUFF BLUES FEST and will be open all weekend for Visitors to stop in.

Saturday April 28th, eight acts will perform on the UMB STAGE on Broadway starting at 10:00am and lasting till around 7:30pm. The Talent performing on the UMB STAGE during the festival will include “YZ” Ealey, Hezekiah Early, Little Poochie, Harvey Knox, Trigger Finger, Alvin Shelby & the Fellowship Mass Choir, Changed, Digital Church, Last Band Standing and the Blue Diamonds. Saturday Night, SELECT CLUB SHOWS take over the festivities again.

SELECT CLUBS include; The Natchez Manor, Pearl Street Pasta, Doc BigLove’s, Corner Bar, Club 601, Biscuits & Blues, Under-the-Hill-Saloon & Eola Bar & Grill. CLUB & BRUNCH TALENT will include; Li’l Jimmy Reed, Vickie Baker, Trigger Finger, Cowboy Blues Band, Ronnie Cox & Blues Bayou, Maggie Brown, Blue Haired Mafia, The Big B.L., W.J. Squall, Ben Lewis, and more.

Sunday, April 29th, make reservations for a Blues Brunch in Downtown Natchez at The Eola Hotel, Biscuits & Blues or Club 601 and Under-the-Hill Saloon, each featuring regional recipes served up with “The Blues” starting at 11:00am. At 1:00pm, join us for MAYOR HYRAM COPLAND’S BLUES PICNIC on the Vidalia Riverfront featuring Free Music by The Natchez Blues Band & Tommy Polk’s Topless Gospel Choir served up with a Bowl of Red Beans & Rice and a Drink for a small donation. This 3-day celebration promises to bring folks together across all lines, manmade or natural to experience the influence of one of Mississippi’s most valuable natural resources... THE BLUES.
