Paul Groves
Lake Charles, Louisiana native and one of Louisiana State University's most successful alumni Paul Groves is on a short list of the most sought-after tenors on the stages of the world's leading opera houses and concert halls. After studying at the Juilliard School, Groves debuted at the Metropolitan Opera in 1992, and then he was on his way to perform with the Paris Opera, the Salzburg Festival, the San Francisco Opera, La Scala, the Vienna State Opera and to sing with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra. He not only has a terrific voice, but he's also known for being an extremely talented actor-a perfect combination for opera.

Lucas Meachem
Lucas' passport is getting a good workout this season, as he has or will perform in Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Prague and several other European cities as well as Chicago, St. Louis and San Antonio. This internationally sought-after performer's compelling lyric baritone voice and dramatic interpretations have led him to some of the world's most important operatic stages. He is well-known to the San Francisco Opera, London and the Royal Opera House, Opera National de Paris, San Diego Opera, Opera de Toulouse, Lyric Opera of Chicago, St. Louis Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Teatro Real de Madrid, Glyndebourne Opera Festival in England, Santa Fe Opera, New Orleans Opera, among others.

Emily Pulley
For a decade and half, Emily has sung major roles with opera companies across the country. At the Met she has performed in La Bohème, The Merry Widow, Pagliacci, and she sang Gretel in Hansel and Gretel. She also has appeared with the Houston Grand Opera, the Los Angeles Opera, the Seattle Opera, the Minnesota Opera, and the Dallas Opera.

Maryann Kyle
Maryann is much in demand as one of the country's leading coaches of belt, legit, and classical vocal technique. She has extensive experience teaching, coaching, and performing opera, recitals, concerts, and Broadway shows. Among her opera credits are La Bohème, Le Nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, La Traviata, Die Zauberflote, and Carmen.

Robert Grayson
Robert grew up in Southern California but for the past 23 years has lived in Baton Rouge, where he is general director of Opéra Louisiane. Though for the Bel Canto Gala, he will showcase his talent as a pianist, as a tenor Robert has sung more than 100 performances with the New York City Opera.

He also appeared throughout the United States and around the world in such operas as La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Norma, Mefistofele, La Traviata, and Carmen.
